What is PBIS

An informational graphic titled "WHAT IS PBIS?" featuring a young smiling girl in a blue striped shirt holding a red pencil. She is positioned in front of a white triangle overlay that frames her and hints of a classroom setting in the background. The background on the right is dark grey, showcasing the text "WHAT IS PBIS?" in large yellow and white font, alongside the "PBIS Rewards" logo.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a system to improve the overall achievement of students, with a primary focus on positive behaviors.  Essentially, students are taught proper behaviors, and appropriately rewarded for displaying them.  In addition, problem behaviors are addressed from an approach of correction instead of punishment. For more information visit the PBIS Website.

The letters PBIS are displayed in large, blue, crayon-like font.
